Burgoo American Bar and Restaurant
Burgoo is very close to my heart (for reasons I cannot disclose..haha)
The last time I came here was some months ago. As much as I would want to go there frequently, I don’t think it’s healthful. So, like many other American restaurants, you can expect that their food are in humongous servings. Here are our favorites:
Nachos Supreme
Type: appetizer

Serving: good for SHAAAARRRIIIING
This is your usual nacho chips with melted cheese, salsa, jalapenos and bits of meat. It’s sooo good and very heavy also. Beware when you eat their appetizers, you want to save some space for your main order. 😉
Burgoo Stew
Type: soup

Burgoo stew
Actually, this isn’t as fancy as you’d think. But what’s noteworthy about this is that, Burgoo got it’s name from this flagship soup. That’s what the waiter told us. This is a tomato based stew with carrot, potatoes, chicken, pork and beef slices.

Hamburgoo…what can I say? Ever since I tasted this, it has become one of my burger benchmarks. This double patty burger is soo yummy! and sooo big! and sooo yummy! and soo big! ahhaha .. The patty is a combination of beef, pork and chicken and it is served with fries. This is actually one of their bestsellers. One of the best burgers I’ve tasted!
