Persia Grill

By now I think you already know that I love  Mid-Eastern cuisine. So here’s another post that features a very good Persian restaurant: Persia Grill.

Here’s what we tried on their menu…

Tehrani Salad
Description: mixed greens with cucumber, tomato, mango, grape, croutons, and Parmesan cheese with Parmesan dressing
Price:  Solo Php 95      To share   Php 170        Family  Php 320
Serving: good for sharing

This salad is super! I’m not really sure if it’s low on calories because of all the croutons and dressing; but hey, I’m not complaining! It’s surprising how all the fruits and veggies blend so well together with the dressing and Parmesan cheese. There’s some sweetness and tangy-ness balanced with the salty cheese. Super nice!

Keema (GBX) on a Bed of Hummus
Description: ground beef express (GBX) with hummus
Price:  Php 199 per serving
Serving: good for sharing

I’m a sucker for keema so I made sure I try this.  I’ve tasted some other keema where the ground beef is seasoned and flavored well. So, I won’t say that the ground beef is amazing on its own but with hummus; they make a good pair. Of course, I like my keema in pita bread.

Btw, for those who are not familiar with hummus, here’s a  definition from the Wikipedia..

 food dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic

Chelo Kebab Kubideh
Description: grilled beef skewers with roasted tomatoes and garlic yogurt sauce
Price:  Php 225 (regular meal)    ~Php 125 (business meal)
Serving: good for 1

Lastly, we cannot not try kebab in a Persian resto; so we had a safe beef kebab. The meat is well seasoned and cooked. It compliments so well with the garlic yogurt sauce and the Persian rice. Overall, it tastes like a proper kebab. hehe

Overall, the price is a bit higher than other similar resto but the food is good. If you are craving for some Persian/ Mediterranean  food, try Persia Grill.
